In addition to「Choshi Tsuri Kinme」, Gnome Fish, Skill Fish and Rose Rock Fish are also caught in Choshi. Due to their rich fatty flesh they are especially delicious when grilled or simmered.

Red Seabream, Japanese Flounder

In Tokawa Red Seabream and Japanese Flounder are also caught. Their fishing ground is approximately 10 kilometers South of Tokawa Port at a depth of 20 to 30 meters. Red Seabream and Japanese Flounder are especially delicious when eaten as sashimi.

To maintain the environment of Red Seabream and Japanese Flounder, Chiba Prefecture will establish an artificial reef of the coast of Tokawa.
